There's a lot going on in this story and it's definitely worth watching though I'm still waiting for an episode that packs some punch. Next week's Cyberwoman episode looks like it might have that.
Here's the blurb from the BBC site:
When Gwen retrieves an alien object from a fleeing hoodie, she's haunted by a vision of a lonely young boy, as this action-packed series starring John Barrowman continues. As the team tracks down the object's owner, the elusive Bernie Harris, Owen experiences an even more terrifying vision and a long-buried crime resurfaces.
Created by award-winning writer Russell T Davies, the high-octane sci-fi thriller follows a team of modern-day investigators as they use alien technology to solve crime both alien and human.
Captain Jack Harkness is played by John Barrowman, Gwen Cooper by Eve Myles, Owen Harper by Burn Gorman and Bernie Harris by Ben McKay.
There's another chance to see this episode on BBC Two on Wednesday 1 November.
