The episode starts with Barney and Kirsten trying to get
through all the doors to present the program using codes and the unlocking
device from '42' but they fail, and the kids take over!
They get back control and interview William Ash about his experience on 42, his chance to kiss Martha Jones and his ability to act hot. Team Totally get to run some special effects. They are so excited at the prospect of blowing up computers and directing a stunt man. Both teams are very competent but only one can win. Definitely a dream come true for a lot of boys. "Who goes there?" was a Dalek! Had me laughing out loud! The introduction to the Infinite Quest was good. Astronomy questions are asked of the kids and Barney loses big time. Kirsten gets a short job on the catering truck with the hope of getting an exclusive about upcoming episodes. She keeps asking the actors and extras who she serves but gets nada! Barney does a scene in the escape pod that was jettisoned in '42' wearing one of the red costumes. He interviews the associate designer James North who explains some of the props, sets and green screens and how they come about. A scene from Human Nature is played featuring Latimer and the watch. A fun episode. ----------------------------
Barney Harwood and Kirsten O’Brien look at everything Doctor Who in the new studio, situated right in the heart of the Doctor Who studios. Only on Totally are exclusive behind the scenes clips and hints at what’s to come in later episodes. This week we meet William Ash who plays Riley about that kiss with Martha and talk to Doctor Who set designer James North who tells us how they made the spaceship sets and props. In Team Totally this week, Team Time Lord and Team TARDIS are set their next challenge. This week the teams take part in an explosive special effects challenge! Also jam-packed into Totally is the seventh episode of ‘The Infinite Quest’ - our exclusive brand new animated adventure for the Doctor and Martha voiced by David Tennant and Freema Agyeman that will run weekly only on Totally Doctor Who.
