Doctor Who first started in the UK on the
23rd November 1963 and ran continually until 1989. (There was a test screening
of the pilot episode a week previously in a small area of London but that
doesn't count!) Doctor Who continued in the form of books, stage plays,
comics, magazines and audio adventures. In 1996 a US/UK co-financed telemovie
burst onto our screens. It didn't rate well in the US so a series was never
taken up. 2005 and Russell T Davies got the nod to bring back Doctor Who
as a TV series. Woo hoo!

Season 5 starring
Matt Smith as the Doctor
501. The 11th Hour
203 030410 By Steven Moffat
After redesigning the console room and
choosing the older TARDIS exterior (or did it just default?) with the original
ambulance sticker and a new coat of paint, he meets up with Amy Pond who
is Scottish and working in London. The Doctor meets Amy as a child and
as a Police Officer while Aliens are intent on destroying Earth to find
an escaped convict. Amy leaves her brother Rory for a life of adventure
with the Doctor. Possible appearance of a shape shifting dog. Hmm, who's
been watching True Blood?
502. Meddling Monks?
204 100410 by Steven Moffat
Some monks gain access to the TARDIS.
Humorous episode starring Terrence Hardiman as maybe the Meddling Monk(?)
who paints the Doctor into a corner.
503. Dalek Tea Party?
205 170410 by Mark Gatiss
World War II set on a farm with Winston
Churchill, devonshire tea, cucumber sandwiches and a dalek. "I'll put the
kettle on" (Is this a homage to Spike Milligan?) Very Power of the Daleks
ish but 3 hours compressed into 44 minutes! Rumoured that the Dalek is
in camouflage paint and referred to as Ironclads.
Other notes:
Steven Moffat will be the producer for
this season and has said that, firstly, Billie Piper will definitely NOT
be in any of the seasons. Secondly, he has not discounted River Song from
appearing again and that she knows more than one Doctor. Thirdly, he doesn't
plan to bring back any old monsters unless there is a really good story,
and that goes for cameos, too. And fourthly, season 5 will be much darker.

504. Time of the Angels
505. Flesh and Stone
206 240410 by Steven Moffat
010510
The Doctor takes Amy on a trip to see
a crashed rocket and is discovered by River Song who has never met the
Doctor before. The Doctor is immediately tense and nervous and has a lot
of difficulty speaking with her, knowing he was there when she died.
Unfortunately that isn't the Doctor's only
problem. The weeping angels are back and this time they're not scavenging
trapped aliens on Earth, they're super strong, powerful and intent on absorbing
the history of planets. The Doctor is tempted to use the angels to wipe
out Riversong's potential future, thereby saving her life. The angels paint
him a grim picture of what their plans are.

506. Vampires of Venice
207 080510 by Toby Whithouse
Some left over vampire servants from the
Time Lord Vampire War are controlling a house in Tudor times. They plan
to paint the town red.
507. Title Unknown
208 150510 by Gareth Roberts
A couple of characters who are as close
as two coats of paint cause problems.
508. Cold Blood Part 1?
509. Warm Planet Part 2?
209 220510 by Chris Chibnall
290510
Some lizards wake up thanks to global
warming. A fourth race of creatures that had evolved after the moon appeared
and after the Silurians (Eocenes!), Sea Devils and others went into hibernation.
(These are also referred to as Silurians but they're a bit different to
the Silurians we know) The Doctor paints UNIT a picture of what to expect
next.

510. Lend Me Your Ear
210 050610 by Richard Curtis
Van Gogh is involved, along with some
absinthe. He wipes the floor with a yellow paint monster. Ends with a quick
trip to Paris in 2010 to see the Mona Lisa.
511. Title Unknown
211 120610 By Simon Nye
Humourous episode, probably involving
a lot of paint.
512. Silver Sentence?
513. Cyberwar?
212 190610 by Steven Moffat
260610
The return of this universe's Cybermen
along with the alternate reality cybermen in a war! A trip to Telos perhaps?
Or back in time to Mondas? This is Steven's chance to fix Cybermen history!
50X A Crack in Time?
2010 Christmas Special
213 251210 By Russell T Davies and Steven
Moffat. The 11th Doctor catches a cold and turns into a girl!
601 Season 6 Episode 1
214 240411 by Steven Moffat
602 The House of Nothing
215 010511 by Neil Gaiman
aka Zero Coordinates. Rumoured return
of the time sensitives, dwarf star alloy, K9 and Romana.
