04 Mar. Dramatic changes expected for Doctor Who and Torchwood. SciFi Pulse reports that Burn Gorman is leaving the show (Burn revealed this in his use of tense in an interview last week) Naoko Mori and John

Barrowman are also leaving. Freema will come into the show full time and the show will change to be more family friendly. The plan is also to move Torchwood to Saturdays to replace Doctor Who during 2009.

In Doctor Who Donna turns out to be a bad character (taken over by the Master?) and leaves at the end of season 4. Tennant will definitely regenerate either during or at the end of the 2009 Christmas special (this news has also been reported as a rumour by other sources)

These episodes are currently being filmed so, in actual fact, Tennant will finish filming Doctor Who in a few weeks time. Robert Carlyle's agent is in negotiations with the BBC about taking over from Tennant. So no confirmation about that yet. When Robert was asked about it he may not have been in the loop yet. And Torchwood season 3 will screen after the Sarah Jane Adventures and before the Christmas special! >
