Doctor Who Annual outsells Beano. > A lot of news outlets are talking about this but I don't believe the figures are accurate. Waterstones is reporting the amount of books that have been ordered by bookshops and distributors. They're not really reporting books sold *from* UK bookshops as these figures are confidential. I know this because there are Doctor Who Annuals selling in expensive tourist shops on Hamilton Island (a pleasure island near the Great Barrier Reef) Any purchase from Waterstones by a distributor shouldn't be counted if it is competing against Beano. Beano definitely doesn't sell much overseas. Having said that, if you haven't got the Doctor Who Annual yet, get it here! 22 Dec. Doctor Who: The Runaway Bride page updated 22 Dec. The BBC and well-known Bittorrent video download software Azureus have inked a deal whereby thousands of BBC TV episodes can be downloaded for a fee. > NB: The comments for this report suggest Azureus is bloated and slows down your computer. So, if you want to pay to download episodes from the BBC that aren't available from other sources, start saving for your new computer now!
